45,000 Volts - Designed for use with the Ignitor II, 12v systems. Also excellent for use with original Ignitor 6v systems. Can be used with 4, 6 or 8 cylinder engines.
With its super low 0.6Ω resistance, this new Flame-Thrower coil is not only perfect for the new Ignitor II breakerless ignition, it can benefit virtually any distributor type system- because the lower resistance and improved turns ratio produces the higher voltage needed to run larger spark plug gaps for added power and better fuel economy. It's compatible with most capacitive discharge systems (CD boxes).
