Product Description
LU-146P12 or LU-146MP12 Ignitors for MG TC, TD & TF 1946-1955 with Positive Ground distributor #DKY4A, DZ4A. Unit comes with a free replacement original style distributor rotor. It is strongly recommended that the rotor be replaced upon installation of a PerTronix kit in these vehicles.
LU-146LSP12 is not recommended for this application. It is not compatible with solid core wires which were standard on the MG, therefore we do not sell it.
The Ignitor has been proven for over fifteen years in race cars, off-road vehicles, national rental fleets, parcel delivery services and by backyard mechanics. The Ignitor is the ideal choice for collector car restoration because it fits entirely under the distributor cap for a neat, clean look. IMPORTANT: Please select Ignitor from the drop-down menu. If the letter following your distributor number is A-D, please choose LU-146MP12. If the letter following your distributor number is E-Z, please select LU-146P12.
